Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Horsham Open Padel League website at horshampadel.org and your participation in the league. By registering a team or using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About the league
The Horsham Open Padel League ("the League", "we", "us", "our") is an amateur padel league based in Horsham, West Sussex, operating at horshampadel.org.
The League is open to men's, women's, and mixed doubles teams. Participation is subject to these Terms of Use and any additional rules published on the website.
2. Eligibility
To register a team, both players must be aged 18 or over at the time of registration.
By registering, you confirm that all information provided — including names, email addresses, mobile numbers, and dates of birth — is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a registration if we have reason to believe the information provided is false or misleading.
3. Registration and entry
Registration for the inaugural season is open from 18 September 2026 to 30 September 2026. We cannot guarantee entry for registrations received after this date.
Entry to the League is free of charge for the inaugural season.
Once registered, teams will be placed into a division based on their self-assessed playing level. Division placement is at the sole discretion of the League organisers.
We reserve the right to limit the number of teams accepted into the League and to close registration early if capacity is reached.
4. Fixtures and results
Fixtures will be published on the website. Teams are responsible for arranging matches with their opponents within the scheduled window.
Match results must be submitted via the captain portal within 48 hours of the match being played. Both captains must confirm the result.
In the event of a disputed result, the League organisers will make a final decision. That decision is binding.
Teams that fail to fulfil fixtures without reasonable notice may be removed from the League at the organisers' discretion.
5. Conduct and fair play
All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times, both on and off the court.
Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour towards other players, officials, or venue staff will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the League.
Players are responsible for their own behaviour and the behaviour of any guests or supporters they bring to matches.
6. Venues and court bookings
Matches may be played at any padel venue in or around Horsham agreed upon by both teams.
Teams are responsible for booking and paying for court time at their chosen venue. The League does not arrange or subsidise court bookings.
Players must comply with the rules and policies of the venue at which they are playing.
7. Health, safety and insurance
Participation in the League is at your own risk. Padel is a physical sport and carries an inherent risk of injury.
The League does not provide personal accident insurance. Players are strongly encouraged to ensure they have appropriate personal insurance cover before participating.
Players with any medical condition that may be affected by physical activity should seek medical advice before participating.
The League organisers accept no liability for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by participants or third parties in connection with League matches or events.
